5 Ways To Score Discounts On Designer!

If you are like me and love luxury brands, but have a hard time paying for the luxury price tags, there is hope for you! Over the years my online shopping experiences have provided me with a bit of knowledge on where to shop and when. Here are the best secrets for scoring big for less!

1. Ssense

My number one favorite sales to shop are the seasonal sales on ssense.com. Their incredible sales happen twice a year and go on for several weeks. Stay in the loop on when the sales drop by subscribing to their newsletter or by following their social media accounts. These sales typically take place at the end of the fall/winter season and the spring/summer season. If you are reading this, you are in luck because the sale is happening now! Visit ssense for up to 70% off of amazing designer finds. Over the years I have scored MM6 handbags and shoes, Fendi sunglasses, Opening Ceremony pieces, Versace jewelry, and my favorite Alexander Wang Gabi boots for a fraction of the original retail price.

2. Nordstrom

The Nordstrom half-yearly sale, which takes place in December and May is another great one that you won’t want to miss. Their online store offers curated brands that they don’t always carry in their brick-n-mortar store fronts. My favorite purchase was a 3.1 Phillip Lim handbag for 50% off. Yes, you heard right, five-zero-percent-off!

3. The Runway @ TJ Maxx

Whether you shop their newly established online store or head to your local TJ Maxx, The Runway collection is out of this world. Hopefully, you are catching onto the trend by now, which is that when it comes to luxury fashion steals it’s all about the season! The best time to shop is always going to be at the end of a season. If you are Houston-based, by far the greatest Runway stock is at the TJ Maxx located on West Gray, where they constantly have designer inventory such as Balenciaga, Gucci, Stella McCartney, Alexander Wang, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Missoni, and Saint Laurent. My most recent find was this beautiful raincoat by Tory Sport, which I swore I would never own Tory, but I was caught by surprise with this number. It is very Japanese street-wear inspired.

4. UAL (United Apparel Liquidators)

This one might call for a road trip, but I’ve never been disappointed. One of my favorite stores of all time is UAL. With stores located in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee, United Apparel Liquidators buys overstock inventory from large department stores for resale at discounted rates. My top finds have included a Maison Martin Margiela envelope bag, Rick Owens, Alexander Wang leather sandals and this amazing multi-wear draped cardigan from Barbara Gongini.

5. The OUtnet

The Outnet is another site offering seasonal sales that give you a significant bang for your buck! Again, 70% off sales are going on now so scoot on over and get ya some goodies! Best purchase from the Outnet was hands down this gorgeous rose leather A.P.C. bag.

Go ahead and treat yourself and don’t feel guilty about it! You’ll be walking away with new designer pieces and a smile knowing you coped a steal or two. For more suggestions on where to shop, feel free to email me! xxx
